(Use http://www.checkmycolours.com/ and http://graybit.com/main.php to check colour scheme of site.)
The theme colours are white, grey and blue. Words are mostly black in white background and white in blue. The colours are easy to read and not contrasting.

Yes graphics is intensive. On the front page, there is already a huge picture. Users have to scroll down to read other contents. Most of the contents are included photos.

The front page is easy to read and the information is well-organized. The menu bar on the top is clear for users to navigate with. The main contents (ie. posts) are in the middle of the page but limit to a certain amount. Users can click "See more" to consume more. Thus users do not need to scroll down a lot to read the contents at the bottom of the page. The headlines are easy to read with blue in colour. They are sort of well written. Users can check the contents for more if they are interested in the headlines.

It is graphics heavy but not contain so much flash. The graphics size is suitable and it does not take so long to load the pages if the network connection is stable.

However, it is on the bottom of the front page. Users have to scroll down till the end to search which makes it a bit inconvenient. The site used ambiguous organisation and allow users to find information in intellectually meaningful ways. The menu bar on the top of front page is task-oriented. (ie.Get the FACTS, Get the Latest, ect.) It organised the content into a collection menu and provide an easy way to search.
